Implemented in Siraha Municipality of Siraha district in Madhesh Province, the Nepal Humanitarian and Development Program (NHDP) supported by Lutheran World Federation is a multifaceted initiative focused on livelihood enhancement and income generation. Launched in 2023 and slated to continue until 2028, NHDP builds upon a rapid market assessment to identify opportunities for economic empowerment within the community.
With a keen understanding of local dynamics and market trends, PAC Nepal collaborates with stakeholders to design tailored interventions that harness existing resources and capacities. By promoting entrepreneurship, vocational training, and access to financial services, NHDP seeks to uplift households out of poverty and build resilience against economic shocks. Through the cultivation of sustainable livelihoods, PAC Nepal endeavors to create lasting positive change, enabling individuals and families to achieve greater economic autonomy and self-reliance.
